Emma Jane Smith, 92, of Schenley Heights, Pittsburgh, originally from Washington, died Tuesday, November 3, 1998. Mrs. Smith was a member of St. Paul AME Church, Washington. She attended schools in Washington, and was retired from Peoples Gas Co., Pittsburgh. She was twice married. She was first married to Louis Smith, who died in 1943. In 1969 she married Edward Terance, who died in 1974. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Robinson Eubanks of Virginia; a sister, Zeata Smith of Washington; and one grandson, Xavier Eubanks.
