Robert Fordanich, 67, of Highland Street, Monongahela (Valley Inn), died Wednesday, November 4, 1998, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Mr. Fordanich lived most of his life in Monongahela and Valley Inn and was Catholic. He served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Fordanich owned and operated the former Johnson's Restaurant in Monessen, and was formerly employed at Grief Brothers and Associated Box Co., both of New Eagle. He was a member of Arroas Haymakers 2531/2 of New Eagle. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Rathi Fordanich; a daughter, Mary (Bobbie) Leezer of Monongahela; a grandson, Jesse Leezer; two sisters, Edna Majerick of Eldora and Dolores "Babe" Monosky of Monessen; and a brother, James Fordanich of Monessen.
