Jay McCarnell Jeffrey, 71, of Eighty Four, died Wednesday, November 4, 1998, in Allegheny University Hospitals, Canonsburg. Mr. Jeffrey worked as a warehouseman for Joy Manufacturing. He was a member of Thomas Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Thomas Jeffrey; two sons, Keith Alan Jeffrey of West Mifflin and Kevin Neal Jeffrey at home; three daughters, Karen Sue Dickey of Fredericktown, Kathy Lee Henderson of Carnegie and Kim Renee Bedner of Charleroi; a brother, Carl M. Jeffrey of Penn Hills; and five grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers, Kermit, Dwight and Warren Jeffrey; and a sister, Gladys Kleber.
