Florence M. Ford, 74, of Washington, died Thursday, November 5, 1998, in Washington Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Ford was Protestant. She was a homemaker. On August 24, 1948, in Washington, she married Merle W. Ford, who died June 14, 1993. Surviving are four daughters, Carol L. Smith and Cheryl C. Rush, both of Washington, Darlene K. Hadix of Washington, with whom she made her home, and Cynthia L. Linton of Scenery Hill; two brothers, Roy G. Dunkle and Robert E. Dunkle, both of Washington; six grandchildren, Rochelle L. Heider, William S. Rush, Dani R. Rush, Brian M. and Daniel E. Hadix and Bernard W. Smith Jr.; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a sister, Ila E. Meloy; and two brothers, Alvin K. Dunkile and Frank Delbert Dunkle.
