Brice W. Smith Jr., 64, of Stockdale, died Wednesday, November 4, 1998, in his home. He lived most of his life in Scottdale and was Protestant. He was a member of Allenport Rod and Gun Club and Slovak Beneficial Society. Mr. Smith served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 801 of Roscoe. He retired from U.S. Steel, Clairton Works. Surviving are three sons, John Haropko of Belle Vernon, Brice W. Smith III of Donora and Brian Smith of Arizona; three daughters, Darla Seighman and Kim Chipley, both of Charleroi, and Kathy Welch of Donora; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Mildress Ferdinando of Monongahela; and a brother, Donald L. Smith of Monongahela. In addition to his parents, a sister, Margaret Smith Rudean, is deceased.
