Nettie W. Roney, 80, of Eighty Four, formerly of McKeesport, died Friday, November 6, 1998, in Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Mrs. Roney was a former member of Park Baptist Church in McKeesport and attended the Church of the Nazarene in Monongahela after moving to Eighty Four. She retired from U.S. Steel, Homestead Works, after 31 years of service. On May 15, 1954, she married John A. Roney, who died June 14, 1993. Surviving are two sons, Robert Roney of Pittsburgh and Gerald Roney of Mt. Lebanon; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
