Frances G. Barbe, 86, of Greensboro R.D.1, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, November 8, 1998, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. Mrs. Barbe was a 1930 graduate of Trinity High School, Washington. In her early life, she operated a beauty shop in Waynesburg with her sister, Mary. On December 17, 1934, she married Charles A. Barbe Jr., who survives. She resided in Monongahela Township, Greene County, all of her married life. Also surviving are three sons, Mervin L. Barbe of Frederick, Md., Charles A. Barbe III of Rochester, N.Y., and Bruce M. Barbe of Southlake, Texas; two daughters, Eva Louise Miller of Chardon, Ohio, and Judy S. Ross of Greensboro R.D.1; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Klotz of Lakewood, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
