Ewing "Gary" Garofalo, 87, of East Grant Street, Houston, died Saturday, November 7, 1998, in his home. He was the retired owner and pharmacist of the former Mountford Pharmacy in Houston. Mr. Garofalo was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Canonsburg. He was a 1930 graduate of Brownsville High School and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. In July 1945, he married Selma Skirble, who died May 27, 1985. Surviving are a sister, Louise Zammerilla of Uniontown; a brother, William Garofalo of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are three brothers, Dr. Ralph Garofalo, Roger Garofalo and Dr. Carl Garofalo; and two sisters, Philomena DeMichele and Adeline Garofalo.
