Mary L. Werstler, 79, of Marianna, died Tuesday, September 29, 1998, in her residence. Mrs. Werstler was a sales clerk for former GeeBee department stores for more than 15 years. She was a member of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Sts. Mary and Ann Roman Catholic Church, Marianna, its Christian Mothers and the parish choir. She also was a member of the American Legion auxiliary. Surviving are a son, Stanley Werstler of Marianna; a daughter, Janet Austin of Battle Creek, Mich.; a brother, John Pezze of Mayville, Wisc.; three sisters, Edith Torelli of Lodi, Calif., Laura Kornet of Mt. Airy, Md., and Vera Mazzaferri of Marianna; two grandsons, Eric and Mike Austin; and several nieces and nephews.
