Rose R. Riley, 89, of Bellmead Apartments, South Main Street, Washington, died at 11:32 a.m. Monday, September 28, 1998, in Washington Hospital, after a brief illness. Mrs. Riley was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington. She was an office manager for Beltone Hearing Service, Washington, for many years. She was a member of Alpine Bowling League, enjoyed golfing and bowling, and sang bass with the Sweet Adelines. On July 27, 1928, she married John T. Riley Jr., who died August 19, 1967. Surviving are two sons, Merle W. Riley of Augusta, Ga., and G. Alden Riley of Mt. Lebanon; a brother, John Resnik of Burgettstown; a sister, Margaret DeFillipis of Avella; three grandchildren, Thomas, William and John Riley; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are four brothers, Martin, Anthony, Joseph and Frank Resnik; four sisters, Angeline Vidmar, Anne Kobal, Mary Gazelle, Mathilda Nau; and a great-grandchild.
