Nydia Ruth Applegate, 81, formerly of Monongahela, died Thursday, October 8, 1998, in the EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria, Ohio. Mrs. Applegate lived most of her life in the Monongahela area, where she was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a retired bank teller with the Monongahela office of National City Bank. Surviving are two sisters, Rose Vincent of Elyria and Gwen Morton of Bentleyville; and a brother, Oliver Naylor of Florida. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Daniel Applegate, who died July 16, 1984; and two brothers, Thomas T. Naylor, who died in 1977, and Joseph O. Naylor, who died in 1964.
