Herman N. Torasso, 95, formerly of Washington, died Saturday, October 10, 1998, in St. Petersburg, Fla. He was married twice. His first wife, Mary Torasso, a former Washington resident, is deceased, and his second wife, Martha Torasso, also from Washington, survives. Also surviving are a son, James Torasso of St. Petersburg; two daughters, Norma Gregoire of Metairie, La., and Kaye Jancaitis of Brandon, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mary Belle Kuntz, is deceased. Arrangements are being handled by Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center, Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg, Fla. Former Washington man was Sears salesman
Mr. Torasso was a salesman for the automotive department of Sears Roebuck and Co. from 1950 to 1963, and he was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in St. Petersburg.
