Irene P. Adams, 91, of Cecil, died Saturday, October 17, 1998, in Manor Care, McMurray. Her husband, Joseph W. Adams Sr., died May 20, 1980. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Woodville State Hospital. She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church of Cecil, Hilltoppers of Cecil and the Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Agatha of Bridgeville. Surviving are a son, James S. Adams of Ashland, Ky.; and two granddaughters, Jennifer Palmer of Alexandria, Va., and Allison Hegarty of Iowa City, Iowa. Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a son, Joseph W.
