George S. Cree, 88, of Beaver, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 30, 1998, in his home. Mr. Cree had been a resident of Beaver County since 1948 and was formerly of Washington. A Marine veteran of World War II, Mr. Cree was a retired supervisor of employment for LTV Steel in Aliquippa. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Aliquippa and F&AM Lodge 672. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews, including a nephew, Don Cameron of Washington. Deceased are his wife, Marie Cameron Cree; a son, George C. Cree; and four brothers and two sisters. Burial is Friday, October 2, in Beaver Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Aliquippa, 2107 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
