Robert L. McVicker, 53, of Carlton Drive, Bentleyville, died Wednesday, September 30, 1998, in the emergency room of Brownsville General Hospital. Mr. McVicker attended Bethlehem Center schools, and he retired in 1991 as a foreman for the state Department of Transportation. He was a member of Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church, Scenery Hill Lions Club, F&AM Beallsville Masonic Lodge 237, Lodge of Perfection in Uniontown and Consistory of Pittsburgh. Surviving are his wife, Darlene Kearns; a son, James Robert McVicker of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter Tammy Lynn Curry of Sugarcreek, Ohio; two brothers, Ernest McVicker of Vestaburg and Richard McVicker of Swanton, Vt.; two sisters, Virginia McVicker of Waynesburg and Kandus Mowl of Bentleyville; and several nieces and nephews. He was born May 18, 1945, in Brownsville, a son of Ruby Bane McVicker Millan of Vestaburg and the late Milton Guy McVicker.
