Norman B. "Gus" Collins, 72, of Brownsville, died Sunday, October 18, 1998, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh. Mr. Collins was a life member of South Brownsville United Methodist Church, Brownsville Masonic Lodge 60, and a member of numerous fraternal and community organizations to which he was dedicated to in leadership roles. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Patricia Malloy; a son, Thomas Collins of Woodland Hills, Calif.; a daughter, Audrey Confer of Uniontown; four grandchildren, Craig Collins, Amy Jo Confer Ross, Erin Loree Confer-Staggers and Sean Collins; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, William Collins of Toledo, Ohio, Anthony Collins of Houston, Texas, and Edward Collins of Yuma, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
