Ruth S. Hart, 80, formerly of Canonsburg, died Monday, October 19, 1998, in Manor Care Nursing Home, Green Tree. Mrs. Hart was a member of Central Assembly of God Church in Houston; graduated from Pennsylvania State University; and taught in the Cecil and Canon-McMillan school districts in the 1960s. She was married to William Samuel Hart Sr., who died February 2, 1978. Surviving are two sons, William Samuel Hart Jr. of Mechanicsburg and John Benton Hart of New Philadelphia, Ohio; a daughter, Nancy Federoff of Valley Grove, W.Va.; and two grandsons, Sammy and David Hart.
