Emma M. Fordyce, 85, of New Freeport R.D.1, died Sunday, October 18, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg. Mrs. Fordyce was a member of Sand Hill Church of Christ. She was married to Aubrey W. Fordyce, who died April 15, 1978. Surviving are five sons, Donald A. Fordyce of New Freeport; Sherell D. Fordyce, New Freeport, Ervin A. Fordyce, Rootstown, Ohio, John W. Fordyce of Mannington, W.Va., and Thomas L. Fordyce of New Freeport; one sister, Hazel Anderson of New Freeport; one brother, Everett Stout of Minerva, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Deceased are two sisters, Julia Peterson and Ettie Stout; and four brothers, Russell, Thurman, Cephus and Samuel Stout.
