Georgia Marie DeWitt, 65, of Greensboro, formerly of Winchester, Va., died Tuesday, October 20, 1998, at her home. Mrs. DeWitt was a member of First Baptist Church of Winchester and John Corbly Memorial Baptist Church, Garards Fort. She was a member of the American Legion auxiliary of Carmichaels and the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary of Greensboro. Surviving are nine children, Martha Catherine Potts of Winchester, Amy Diane Funtila of Stephens City, Va., Roy Samuel DeWitt of Waynesburg, Brenda Marie Funtila of Fairfax, Va., Sharon Lynn Wright of Carmichaels and James David Daniel Eric and Sheila Marie DeWitt, all of Greensboro; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; four brothers, James Conard of Garards Fort and Lloyd, Carl and Matthew Conard, all of Nemacolin; and a sister, Betty Scott of Garards Fort.
