Percy Day Teagarden Sr., 72, of Carmichaels, died at 5:05 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Teagarden was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Crucible. He was a retired coal miner with Crucible Mine. His wife, Mary Dolansky Teagarden, died February 11, 1998. Surviving are a son, Percy Jr. of Crucible; three daughters, Katherine Ruth Krosinger of Waynesburg and Mary Carr and Alice Butler, both of Carmichaels; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Newton F. Teagarden of Clarksville; and two sisters, Rose Novotny of Hudson, Ohio, and Mary Lewis of Carmichaels. Deceased are two brothers, Harold and Clarence Teagarden; and a sister, Helen Teagarden.
