Mary E. Capinski Puzio, a retired juvenile probation office secretary, died Wednesday, October 21, 1998, at her residence. She was 72. Mrs. Puzio, a resident of Bridgeport, was employed by Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown and was also employed by the Stroehman Bakery Co. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Swedesburg, and a former member of the church choir. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, poetry, music, writing, reading and meeting new people. Mrs. Puzio was a graduate of Sacred Heart Parochial School, Swedesburg, a 1935 graduate of Upper Merion High School and a 1948 graduate of Pierce Junior College. She was the widow of John J. Puzio Sr., who died December 5, 1996. Surviving are two sons, John J. Jr., and Joseph J., both of Swedesburg; seven daughters, Mary E. Stephenson of Altamonte, Springs, Fla., Ann T. Puzio of Wakefield, Mass., Elizabeth DeGulis of Nashua, N.H., Katherine A. Smith of Swedesburg, Helene M. Dulaney of Waynesburg, Jane T. Sharma of Rockville, Md., and Michelle Johnson of Bridgeport; eight grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Stephenson, Kimberly Smith, Joseph Harold Dulaney, Sanjay Sharma, Kelly Jane Stephenson, Nicholas Sharma, Patrick Johnson and Matthew Johnson; a brother, John Capinski of Swedesburg; a sister, Helen Farrington of Norristown; five nephews; and four nieces. Interment is in St. Augustine Cemetery, Upper Merion Township.
