William O. Whoolery, 82, of Jefferson R.D.1, died Monday, October 26, 1998, in his home. He worked for Greene County as manager of the Greene County Fairgrounds. Mr. Whoolery lived most of his life in the Waynesburg and Jefferson areas. On November 21, 1933, he married Rebecca M. Rogers, who died May 12, 1997. Surviving are two sons, Clyde D. Whoolery of Jefferson and Glen Whoolery of Jefferson; two daughters, Wilda Kiger of Waynesburg and Shirley Harrison of Duarte, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Geraldine Bryant of Baltimore, Md. Deceased are one grandson, Douglas Kiger; two sisters, Gladys Phillips and Edith Clark; and four brothers, Albert, Clarence, Milton and Arthur Whoolery.
