Robert Merashoff, 77, of Ellsworth, died Thursday, October 1, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. Merashoff was Orthodox and was a World War II Army veteran. He was retired from BethEnergy Mine 51 and was a member of the Eagles in Canonsburg and Veterans of Foreign Wars in Bentleyville. Surviving are his son, Robert M. Merashoff Sr. of Scenery Hill; a daughter, Linda Vitek of Bentleyville; a sister, Marjorie Conicello of Milford; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Deceased are his wife, Stella Kowaliszyn Merashoff; four sisters, Edith Lancey, Helen Greco, Ann Martello and Frances Zuccaro; and three brothers, Mike, John and William Merashoff.
