John Roger Posten, 60, of Bremerton, Wash., formerly of Washington County, died Friday, October 2, 1998, in Harrison Hospital. Mr. Posten was employed by Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Wash. He was a graduate of East Washington High School and attended Kent State University in Ohio and University of Washington in Seattle. Mr. Posten served in the Naval Reserve in Seattle and was a member of Knights of Pythias. Surviving are two sisters, Joycelyn Pellegrini of Houston and Linda Mae Miller of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, James David Lutes of Bullard, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
