Betty J. Campbell, 74, of Finleyville, died Friday, October 30, 1998, in ManorCare Nursing Facility, McMurray. Mrs. Campbell was employed as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service at the Finleyville Post Office for many years. She was also an organizer and supporter of youth sports in the Finleyville area during the 1950s and 1960s. Mrs. Campbell was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Finleyville and attended services at Mingo Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Auxiliary of American Legion Post 613 of Finleyville. Her husband, James B. Campbell, died April 28, 1995. Surviving are three sons, James R. and Tracy A. Campbell, both of Finleyville, and William B. Campbell of Nobleboro, Maine; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Irwin of Monongahela.
