Joan E. Wilson, 67, of 121 Center Street, Ridgway, died Sunday, October 4, 1998, in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wilson lived most of her life in Johnsonburg and Washington, and resided in Ridgway for the last 18 months. She was a 1950 graduate of Johnsonburg High School and was a member of First Baptist Church in Johnsonburg. She worked for several years as a laboratory technician in Washington. Surviving are two sons, David Wilson of Utica, N.Y., and James Wilson of Grampian; two daughters, Marjorie Wilson and Myra Marsh of Ridgway; and a stepson, Donald Wilson of Charlotte, N.C.; three brothers, Richard of Ridgway, Ronald of Johnsonburg and Gerald Steudler of Wilcox; three sisters, Ann King of Johnsonburg, Majorie Wortman of St. Marys and Marian O'Knefski of Ridgway; five granddaughters, Sarah, Laura and Rachel Wilson and Barbara and Billie Jo Marsh; and several nieces and nephews.
