Edith Nopwasky Burton, 70, of New Brighton, formerly of Crucible, died Friday, September 25, 1998, in the Medical Center, Beaver. Her husband, David L. Burton Sr., is deceased. Surviving are a son, David L. Burton of Rochester, N.Y.; a daughter, Kimberly Yope of Midland; a grandson, Michael Burton; a granddaughter, Lise Burton; two brothers, Kenneth Nopwasky of Joplin, Mo., and Eugene Nopwasky of Meadville; three sisters, Mildred Vukovich of North Windham, Conn., Anna Belle Durkin of Wilimantic, Conn., and Ruth Yelenik of Dilliner; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are four brothers, Edward, Bill, Harry and Robert Nopwasky; two sisters, Valeria Nopwasky and Ethel Utterback. Burial was Saturday, October 3, in Midland.
