Marie E. Parente, 77, of Bridgeville, died Sunday, October 4, 1998, in Allegheny University Hospitals-Canonsburg. Mrs. Parente was a homemaker and had been a cook at the former Plaza Restaurant in Bridgeville. She was a member of St. Agatha Church of the Holy Child Parish, Bridgeville. On September 27, 1952, she married Joseph Parente, who died May 13, 1997. Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Wholey of Greentree and Michele Parente of Bridgeville; and a brother, Frank Murdock of Sykesville. Deceased are two brothers, Joseph and Jerome Murdock.
