Goldie Ellen Filbey, 89, of Jefferson, died Monday, October 5, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg. Mrs. Filbey was a homemaker who lived her entire life in the Waynesburg and Jefferson areas. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ruff Creek. On December 7, 1956, she married J. Raymond Filbey, who survives. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Edward Allan, William Gary, Richard Lynn, Clarence Edward Jr. and Charles Barry Zollars, Barbara Diana Taylor-Wahter, Karen Sue Heidinger, Deborah Ellen Arnold and Cathy Michelle Rudisill; nine great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Blanche Iams of Front Royal, Va. Deceased is her daughter, Betty Jean Dunn Zollars; four sisters, Levina Shirk, Bessie Gibson, Ruth Moon and Hazel McElhaney; and four brothers, Harry, Jesse, Frank and Glenn Dunn.
