June M. Martinek, 76, of McDonald, died Tuesday, October 6, 1998, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. Mrs. Martinek was a 1940 graduate of Hickory High School and a homemaker. Her husband, William Martinek, is deceased. Surviving are two sons, William F. Martinek and Robert G. "Robby" Martinek, both of McDonald; three grandchildren, Natalie, Trevor and Todd Martinek; and a brother, Robert Theiss of McDonald. Deceased are three brothers, Charles Theiss, Fred Theiss and Ernie Theiss; and three sisters, Lorraine Theiss, Ellen Zirwas and JoAnn Brownlee.
