William "Deac" Dinsmore, 65, of Lawrence, died Wednesday, October 7, 1998, in Humbert Lane Health Care Center, Washington. Mr. Dinsmore was a member of Church of the Covenant, Washington, where he was an elder and a trustee. He was a 1952 graduate of East Washington High School and attended Wilmington College in Ohio. Prior to his discharge in August 1961, he served in the U.S. Army with the rank of corporal. Mr. Dinsmore was a paramedic equipment salesman, a member of Elks Lodge 776 of Washington and an enthusiastic sports fan. In 1970, in Cambridge, Ohio, he married Clara Jane Price, who survives. In addition to his wife and mother, surviving are two daughters, Debra L. Jackson of Claysville and Breck Ann Pugh of Jamestown; and five grandchildren, Daniel, Brian and Amalee Jackson and Tyler Marie and Kaitlin Renea Pugh.
