Stanley Szczepanik, 75, of Hickory, died Tuesday, October 6, 1998, in Washington County Health Center. Mr. Szczepanik was a member of St. Michael Church in Avella. He was a member of Pulaski Club of Washington, Lions Club of Hickory and the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Washington. He had been employed as a supervising draftsman for 42 years for Pennsylvania Transformer, McGraw Edison and Cooper Industries. On September 26, 1948, in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Canonsburg, he married Margaret Lukachko, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Richard Szczepanik of Stuart, Fla.; one daughter, Rebecca Flamm-Johnson of Hickory; four sisters, Lucille Hanna of Sacramento, Calif., Jennie Chverchko of Washington, Mary D'Angelo of McDonald and Agnes Wengryn of Bridgeville; four grandchildren, Sabrina and Brian Szczepanik and James Flamm and Caitlin Flamm; and several nieces and nephews.
