John E. Cole Sr., 68, of 13 Wind Rose Court, Columbiana, Ohio, died Sunday, October 4, 1998, in Youngstown (Ohio) Osteopathic Hospital. Mr. Cole had moved to Ohio area 36 years ago. He was a mechanic for Smith Brake in Youngstown for 35 years. He was a member of Moose Lodge 467 of East Palestine, Ohio; Eagles Aerie 1506 in East Palestine; and Eagles Aerie 2415 in New Waterford, Ohio. Surviving are four sons, John Cole Jr. of Washington, Don Cole of North Carolina, Ron Cole of New Jersey and Thomas Cole of Struthers, Ohio; a brother, Bill Cole of Leesburg, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
