She was born June 24, 1918, in East Carnegie, a daughter of Trevor G. and Gertrude B. Davis. Surviving are a daughter, Madelyn Tallman of Jonesboro; a son, James Morgan of Jonesboro; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Juanita Ward and Ethel Mae Chappo, both of Washington. Deceased are three sisters, Mary Margaret Anderson, Marvene Davis and Audrey J. Thompson; two brothers, Glenn Davis and Alfrid Davis; and two siblings who died in infancy. Burial is in Georgia.
