Josephine B. Stanek, 87, of Ellsworth, died at 5 p.m. Monday, September 14, 1998, at her home. Mrs. Stanek was a member of Ave Maria Parish, St. Luke's Church, Bentleyville. On April 1, 1935, she married Frank J. Stanek, who died April 19, 1996. Surviving are a daughter, Joan Novakovich of Monessen; three sons, Frank Stanek Jr. of Loveland, Colo., Bernard Stanek of Gilbert, Ariz., and Gregory Stanek of Cokeburg; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
