Frank Scoumis, 66, of Hopewell Township, Aliquippa, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, 1998, in Beaver Medical Center, Beaver. Mr. Scoumis was Greek Orthodox. He was retired from LTV Steel Corp. in Aliquippa, and had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garden. On November 9, 1952, he married Mary Gregorakis, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Stephanie M. Mukanos of Aliquippa; a son, William C. Scoumis of Dallas, Texas; two granddaughters, Christina and Alexandra Mukanos; a brother, William Scoumis of Aliquippa and a sister, Margie Platoniotis of Punta Gorda, Fla.
