Margaret R. Scott, 77, of Burgettstown, died Tuesday, September 1, 1998, in Presbyterian Health Care Center, Washington. Mrs. Scott was employed at the Burgettstown High School cafeteria, at G.C. Murphy's and at Ames in Robinson Township until her retirement. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Burgettstown. In 1945, in the Presbyterian Church in Coraopolis, she married Kenneth H. Scott, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Peg Beaumont of Burgettstown, and Bonnie McCartney and Laura McCartney, both of Washington; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
