Martin "Mutsy" DeAngelis, 76, of Cecil, died Saturday, September 19, 1998, in Allegheny University Hospital-Canonsburg. He retired in 1986 from Canon-McMillan School District, where he worked as a school bus driver. He was also employed by George Fleeher Construction Co. of Cecil. During World War II, Mr. DeAngelis served with the 101st Cavalry in the European, African and Middle Eastern theaters. He was a member of Cecil American Legion Post 793. He was a softball fan and attended many local games. On March 8, 1944, in Oceanport, N.J., he married Pauline C. Tomikel, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Dennis DeAngelis of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Donald DeAngelis of North Strabane Township; two sisters, Ann Dantry of Cecil and Velma Susi of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Dan DeAngelis of Bridgeville; and two grandsons, Clinton and Bradley DeAngelis. Deceased are three sisters, Mary Ventresca, Josephine Milliron and Edith DeAngelis; and a brother, Joseph DeAngelis.
