John P. Fircak, 82, of Finleyville, died Sunday, September 20, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. Fircak formerly worked as a mechanic at Mathies Coal Co. He was a member of SNPJ Lodge 90 of Hackett and a longtime member of LOOM No. 172 of Finleyville. Surviving are his wife, Mary Slopak Fircak; a son, John C. Fircak of Willoughby, Ohio; a stepson, Dennis Reno of Tulare, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Patricia Reno of Venetia and Eileen Wokutch of Etna; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
