Nick Ross, 80, of West Wylie Avenue, Washington, died Tuesday, September 22, 1998, at noon in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. He had been ill since August. Mr. Ross served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater during World War II, in the Philippine Liberation Campaign. He received the American Defense Service Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon. He had been employed in construction, and was a member of Laborers Local 286. On October 24, 1969, he married Elizabeth A. Reedy, who survives. Also surviving are four stepsons; a brother, William Ross of Cross City, Fla.; a sister, Carmella Hulpa of Houston; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; Deceased is a brother, Guy R.
