Anna Spanovich, 88, of 300 Center Avenue, Waynesburg, formerly of Bobtown, died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 1998, in Franklin Care Center, Waynesburg, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Spanovich lived in New York in her early life and spent 57 years in Bobtown. For the past eight years, she lived in a personal care facility. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Dockman of Palm Desert, Calif.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Deceased are her husband, Joseph Spanovich, who died in 1965; a daughter, Mildred Glod; a son, George Spanovich; a sister, Sylvia Pesci; and three brothers, Michael, Pete and George Fedorko.
