Marie P. Church, 92, of Orlando, Fla., and formerly of McMechen, W. Va., and Rogersville, died at 10 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 1998, in Florida Hospital, Apopka, Fla. Mrs. Church had been a resident of Orlando since 1971, but had kept her residence in McMechen until 1993. She was employed as a seamstress by Bobbie Brooks Co. in Bellaire, Ohio, for more than 25 years until her retirement. She was Protestant. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Lewis and Charleen Davis, both of Orlando; two sons, William C. Church of McMechen and Ralph E. Church of Proctor, W. Va.; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Deceased are her husband, Howard Egan Church, who died June 1970; a son, Robert Raymond Church; three sisters, Matilda Crall, Mary Porter and Ruth King; a brother, Charles Pyle; and two granddaughters. Mrs. Church was the last of her immediate family. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Center Township, at the convenience of the family. Seamstress for more than 25 years
She was born September 14, 1906, in Rogersville, a daughter of Clinton and Nancy Ellen Caseman Pyle.
