Laurence C. Addleman, 72, of Bethel Park, formerly of Clarksville, died Friday, September 25, 1998, following a brief illness. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Addleman had been employed as a trust officer for Mellon Bank for more than 26 years. He was a member of Zollarsville Chapel United Methodist Church, an associate member of Christ United Methodist Church of Bethel Park and a member of Mellon Volunteer Professionals, Nemacolin Bowling League and Family Hospice. On October 17, 1948, he married Patricia Swihart, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Kevin F. Addleman of Indiana; a daughter, Laurel P. Purdue of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Lenora McMinn of Berlin; seven grandchildren, Ian, Heather, Keith and Kyle Purdue, and Rachel, Renee and Nicole Addleman; and several nieces and nephews.
