Janet Louise Tomcyk, 42, of Laurie Lane, Washington, died at 4:20 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 1998, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Tomcyk was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and its Christian Mothers. She was a 1975 graduate of Trinity High School and was formerly employed in the dietary department of the Presbyterian Home for many years. She was a dedicated volunteer for Washington Hospital and for the PTG of John F. Kennedy Grade School and enjoyed the company of her family. On September 14, 1980, she married Lou E. Tomcyk Jr., who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael and Matthew Tomcyk, both at home; a brother, Glen R. Dean of Washington; a sister, Carolyn A.
