Bertha E. Bahn, 72, a 40-year resident of West Alexander, formerly of Texas, died Sunday, September 6, 1998, in Wheeling Medical Park, Wheeling, W.Va., following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Bahn was a member of First Christian Church, West Alexander. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening. On April 7, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas, she married Ernest H. Bahn, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mary Marie Haught of Independence, Ky., and Hilda Pattison of West Alexander; a brother, William Taylor of West Alexander; a sister, Hilda Miller, of West Alexander; eight grandchildren, Mike, Pam and Richard Pattison and Amy, Christina, Katie, Rachael and Elizabeth Haught; a great-granddaughter; and two nieces and two nephews.
