Joseph V. Puskar, 76, of Canonsburg, died unexpectedly Monday, September 7, 1998, in his home. Mr. Puskar lived his entire life in Canonsburg, where he had been a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a roller at the former Fort Pitt Bridge Co. and was last employed as a produce packer at Tiny Store in Canonsburg. He enjoyed dartball and was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Polish National Catholic Team. On November 22, 1958, he married Blanche Wojciechowski Bullock, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Gloria Verakis of McMurray; two grandchildren, Daniel and Melissa Verakis; two sisters, Elizabeth Tomsic and Margaret Puskar, both of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
