Monday, March 1, 1999 Edward J. Haftman Corning Glass retiree Edward J. Haftman, 72, of North Charleroi, died Saturday, February 27, 1999, in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. He was born July 17, 1926, in Richeyville. Mr. Haftman was a member of Gospel Alliance Church of Charleroi. He was retired from Corning Glass Co., where he worked in quality control. Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly Ann Haftman of Charleroi; two sons, Thomas Edward Haftman of Florida and Timothy John Haftman of Charleroi; three brothers, Robert Haftman and Bernard Haftman, both of Ohio, and Donald Haftman of North Carolina; a sister, Dolores Cheroki of Monessen; a granddaughter, Kristine Lynn Haftman; and two great-granddaughters.
