Monday, March 1, 1999 Edna Horr Strimel Houston woman was retired bookkeeper Edna Horr Strimel, 72, of 140 West Pike Street, Houston, died Friday, February 26, 1999, in Canonsburg Hospital. She was born August 31, 1926, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Robert Lee and Margaret Horstman Horr. She was a lifelong resident of the Canonsburg-Houston area and a member of First Christian Church. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a bookkeeper for Peters Electric. Surviving are a son, Dan L. Strimel of Canonsburg; a brother, Robert Harr of St. Louis, Mo.; three grandchildren, Nicole, Danielle and Chad Strimel; and three nieces and one nephew. Deceased is a brother, William Orr.
