John George, 78, of Lanham, Md., died Wednesday, September 1, 1999. Surviving are his wife, Clarice George; a son, John E. George; a daughter, Judi Hendricks; a brother, Smith George; a sister, Helen Williams; and two grandchildren, Joseph and Nathan Hendricks. Deceased is a son, Robert George. Visitation will take place in Lanham and interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Md. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann's Infant and Maternity Home, 4901 Eastern Avenue, Hyattsville, Md. John George
