John "Casey" Evanoka, 83, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, January 5, 2000, in Canonsburg Hospital. Mr. Evanoka was a member of Steam Fitters Local 449, Pittsburgh, working for Power Piping of Pittsburgh the last 20 years. He also was a member of the Labor Temple of Canonsburg. He and his wife, Virginia Hixon, resided at the Hixon Homestead Farm in the village of Linden since 1947. Mrs. Hixon died April 16, 1998. Surviving are two sons, John Evanoka of East Amherst, N.Y., and Mark Evanoka of Canonsburg; five grandchildren, Adam, Brian, Mark, Kristen and Megan Evanoka; and a brother, Andrew Evanoka of Strabane.
